According to analysis by the CertiK security team, Curve (CRV) is a decentralized lending protocol. Approximately 50,000 CRV tokens have been locked in CRV1, the governance token of CRV, and 400 million CRV tokens are locked. Currently, the price of this token is around $0.03. The project was initially launched by founder 0xMaki, who controls the entire platform. However, due to the inability of anyone to directly deposit users’ funds into the CRV wallet of the platform, the price of CRV has dropped significantly and has now reached around $0.3.

According to a report by CoinDesk, the price of CRV token has recently plummeted by over 60%.

According to CoinDesk’s data, in the past week, the average transaction fee of CRV is approximately $0.01; it has risen by about 10% since early March; and the current average price is around $0.048, a 25% drop from the peak price on February 18.

CRV was first launched in November 2020, and at that time, it had attracted some investors to participate, including some well-known cryptocurrency exchanges such as Kraken and Bittrex. It later introduced a project called “CRV”, which aims to incentivize community members to actively manage their digital assets through a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO); and a new Ethereum wallet that allows developers to build their own applications and interact with their favorite blockchains.
