What is A3 Miner (Miner A4)

What is A3 Miner? According to official sources, A3 Miner is a mining machine that utilizes ASIC chips to calculate the computing power of A3 algorithm. As per the introduction, A3 adopts a new type of hashing circuit design, which can divide Bitmain’s Shenma M30S+ series machines (as well as Avalon Antminer) into two halves, with A2 becoming the mainstream. The working principle of A3 Miner is different from ordinary graphics card miners because it only requires one machine to handle all A3 miners’ tasks. Moreover, due to its large size, it is unable to sustain the duration of large-scale operations.

Today, Bitmain officially announced that the Antminer A4 series chips will be available on July 30th. According to official sources, the new version of A4 ASIC will support a computing power of up to 3000 TH/s (approximately 110T) for graphics card miners, and it will come with features like up to 100,000 pieces of high-power computers and 20,000 ultra-lightweight hosts.

It is reported that Bitmain has already completed the first round of pre-orders for the Avalon A9 series Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Shenma M20s series mining-specific GPUs and all-in-one CPUs.
