Celo Coin, also known as CELO, is a token based on the Ethereum blockchain and is the only token on the Bitcoin network. According to the Celo website, the total supply of Celo Coin is 100 billion (equivalent to 1 billion dollars), with 10% allocated to early supporters, foundations, and investors; and an additional 5% allocated to ecosystem partners and advisory committees.
When introducing their project, they stated, “Celo is an open financial platform and decentralized payment protocol.” They also mentioned that Celo currently mainly provides stable asset trading services, similar to Bitcoin Cash and other digital currencies. (Cointelegraph)

According to CoinDesk, as per the latest news released on the Celo official website, on May 30th, CELO’s price was $10. This represents an almost 10% increase from the previous low point.
Reportedly, the project was launched in early April with the aim of addressing the complexity of cryptocurrency transactions by establishing a “trusted” network. The platform also uses stablecoins such as cUSD, cEUR, and cBTC to pay for its operational expenses. Additionally, it will provide additional rewards (similar to stablecoins) to help improve the efficiency of its price and liquidity.
