Moeda Coin is a virtual currency based on blockchain technology with a focus on Africa. In December 2017, the Indonesian government passed a law prohibiting the use of encryption technology in Russian language or script. It is said that the country has implemented laws and regulations banning the use of encryption technology in all private and public records. However, this ban has not been well resolved. Therefore, Moeda Coin is a new type of encrypted digital asset that can coexist with any other digital assets such as Bitcoin and interact with them.

According to official reports, Moac Coin is a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) developed based on blockchain technology and managed and controlled by MoadDAO. Tokens issued on MOAC will be similar to other tokens and will be used to incentivize participants, community building, and ecosystem construction. These tokens can be used as governance tokens in the protocol layer.
Currently, the project is still in its early stages, and the team plans to release a new mainnet before the end of the third quarter of this year. In addition, the team is developing a new version called “Mood” to initiate the process of running network nodes.
