Tokensale is a term that according to bitcoin.com refers to a series of new applications released by blockchain startup TokenSale. This includes concepts like tokensale and token distribution platforms. The project leader stated that in September 2018, they raised around 100 million dollars through an ICO to develop their team and create new systems, products, or services. By August of this year, these applications have been launched and are planned to go into production in the third quarter of 2019.

According to the official explanation, “Tokensale” means “issuing tokens,” but it does not specifically indicate the value of the tokens. Therefore, it is more like an equity crowdfunding or investment fund, where investors can use this model to raise funds.
