It gradually expanded starting in early 2019 and experienced growth in the mid to late 2018. After the end of 2018, it entered a bear market, and it began to expand in May 2019. In the first quarter of 2020, the total number of Antminers increased by nearly 50%, reaching a production of 200 million units. This indicates that although many domestic manufacturers support bitcoin mining, it is not so user-friendly for ordinary users. Moreover, Antminer still operates based on the elderly and children, rather than operating based on hometowns. Therefore, many people may think that this place is a “big household circle.” The second factor is that many companies in China do not have the guidance of local governments, or some large institutions do not have a sufficient understanding of the region’s power resources, which leads to the closure or suspension of some power plants. The third and most fundamental reason is that Antminer’s headquarters is located in Shanghai, and there are also branch offices in Shenzhen, but these office addresses are all overseas. Another reason is that Antminer’s headquarters is located in Hangzhou, Zhejiang, and the office is called Wu Jihan’s office.

The inefficiency and high prices of mining service providers have caused some miners to be unable to enter the mining field normally, making it difficult to establish a connection. It is reported that due to the “hashrate war” causing a temporary sharp drop in Bitcoin, more than 100 S9 miners have been attacked and lost their data repositories, and this failure has affected multiple miners.
