When is the blockchain conference happening? On December 15th, 2019, the 24th Global Investment, Technology, and Market Conference was held in Washington, D.C. by the World Economic Forum, the International Monetary Fund, and the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

A “blockchain-themed” conference will be held in November this year, hosted by a professor from New York University. The conference will mainly focus on four topics: regulatory policies, financial technology, and the development direction of blockchain.

Here are the latest developments in 2018: 1. Bitcoin experienced negative price trends for the first time after the halving; 2. Bitcoin prices surged or fell after reaching a historical high; 3. China’s first government-led national blockchain project is being prepared. 4. Coinone, the third-largest exchange in South Korea, announced in early July that it will launch a digital asset business pilot program in Shinhan from September 1st. 5. BitFlyer, Japan’s largest cryptocurrency exchange, has begun operations and will conduct an ICO financing and trading service pilot program.
