On August 10, 2018, Bitfinex exchange transferred from an unknown wallet to another unknown Bitcoin address. In the past few weeks, the transaction has been confirmed multiple times without any issues, but this time it was conducted through multiple different addresses, which makes Bitcoin currently a banned market.

Therefore, this type of situation is becoming very common. When users use a certain token, they usually send a message to let others know what their digital currency is. Due to the inaccuracy of this information, some accounts are unable to access their funds, such as when their private keys are stolen, or their cryptocurrency is lost, and so on. So, such situations can also occur.

Bitcoin transferred to a non-existent address

A user claimed to have transferred nearly $100,000 worth of Bitcoin to a non-existent address. Subsequently, it was discovered that the money did not come from any particular organization or individual’s wallet, but was transferred from one unknown account to another address. Upon investigation, it seems that there is no connection between these two accounts. This includes an individual named “0x8d9b”, someone called “0xc4caf6ae7ad5ed1c3dfbeaf2dbcf35ce45f6617daf” (also known as a cryptocurrency enthusiast), and a former miner (founder of Bitcoin.com) among anonymous large holders. (Note by DeepChain Finance: Previously, Bitcoin experienced significant price increases on December 28, 2018 and early 2019, reaching over $30,000 when the price was around $3,000. However, the current increase has fallen below the $10,000 mark.)
