On July 8th, Antminer’s official Weibo announced the algorithm used by the L3 miner. According to the introduction, L30 is a chip design that uses the L3+ mining solution. In terms of computing power, it optimizes the distribution of computing power and coin output efficiency through mathematical models. It uses a random heating proportion to slow down the blocks, reducing workload and increasing the hash rate (currently estimated to be about 15nm), while reducing power consumption and maintenance costs.
L40 has four main technical advantages:
(1) It can dynamically adjust the difficulty to adapt to the fluctuating market environment under the current Bitcoin market situation, effectively avoiding waste caused by repetitive calculations, increasing miners’ income, and improving the operation level of mining farms. (2) The average power consumption per second of the entire network has decreased by more than 15%, which is beneficial to the normal operation of mining farms. (Xingqiu Daily)

According to Bitdeer’s official website, the Antminer S19 series 30t has a total power consumption of about 110T. Based on the current coin price, the average energy efficiency ratio is 40.04J/TH in 24 hours, an increase of 21.5% compared to the highest point in December 2017. This means that a 30t hashing machine can currently handle over 30 million Bitcoin network mining tasks (including hosting).
According to the information on Bitdeer’s official website, the total network hashrate of Antminer is approximately 100 million RMB (15.5 million USD), making it one of the first Ethereum mining pools and the largest Bitcoin mining farm in the world.
