EDG stands at the peak, who will compete? (Passion Boils! IEM Finals About to Begin!) EDG, the team from the Eastern Division, is ready to compete in the finals. Who will join the battle?
The opening match of the 2021 League of Legends World Championship is approaching! On November 17th, the 16 teams from Europe entered the knockout stage. The competition is about to begin, as 8 teams from different countries have advanced to the knockout stage after intense battles.
In the group stage on the first day, the four members of “League of Legends” were divided into four groups – Korea, the United States, and the United Kingdom. Starting from the second week of the group stage, there will be a BO5 single round-robin match every other week until the final BO5 double elimination match.
The result of this match will directly determine the champion and rankings of the League of Legends World Championship.
After the end of the third week of the group stage, the “League of Legends” will welcome the Mid-Season Invitational and will hold the finals on December 13th in Iceland. The championship finals of this year’s cup will be contested by eight teams from the East Asian Division, including 6 LPL teams from the North American Division and 3 teams from the LCK Division.
