On March 2, Yoav Weiss, a security researcher of the Ethereum Foundation, announced that the core contract of the new Ethereum account abstract proposal ERC-4337 had passed the audit of Open Zeppelin and would be available on every Ethereum virtual machine (EVM) compatible network, including Polygon, Optimism, Arbitrum, BNB Smart Chain, Avalanche and Gnosis Chain.
